I started out with another shipping company (broker). I was under contract with them for 14 days and the car was never touched. I contacted Golden Key Express. They picked the car up the next day. Harold the owner of the company transported the car himself. It was great. The price was in line with everyone else, but the service was way above everyone else. Harold was extremely nice and very easy to work with. I would definetely recommend you use these guys first and save yourself a big headache. They communicate with you every step of the way, and they take care of your car, and they are prompt. What else could you ask for.

After weeks of checking different web sites and getting multiple quotes, we made our decision to use Golden Key Express to transport our vechicle from Indiana to California. Save yourself a ton of time and just call them today. The service was EXCELLENT!! The fact that the vechicle got there in five days just amazed me after all the horror stories I read on the internet about it taking weeks for vechicles to be picked up!!
Our schedule was flexible, which might have helped, but we were very pleased with the service and speed in which the whole process took. Seriously, if you need to transport a vechicle just call Golden Key Express. Yes there cost was a little higher than our lowest quote, but also about three hundred dollars lower than our hightest quote.

I want to thank Golden Key Express for their reliable service earlier this month during the transportation of my daughter's vehicle from New Jersey to Los Angeles. My wife and I spend weeks on the internet investigating various companies to transport our vehicle. We selected Golden Key because our research determined that a carrier was a better option than a broker, and Misty was very helpful and honest. Jack, our driver, was very dependable and flexible with the meeting arrangements. While I know it is difficult to guarantee a specific delivery date, especially with the challenge of winter weather, Jack could not have done a better job. I would like to take a moment to express my appreciation for a job well done.
I searched for a transport company for 3 weeks before finding you all. We needed to send my sons car from NC to Pasadena California. This was my first experience and I was quite nervous about transporting with just anyone.
I tried getting referrals locally from our chamber of commerce, car dealerships, and moving companies but no one could help.
I had several companies give quotes, and then when I followed up with research, I found that they either didn't have good ratings with the Better Business Bureau or they were brokering the deal, or I just didn't feel comfortable with the representative.
My first contact with Golden Key was with Harold White, the owner and a driver for his company. I was impressed with his calm voice and professionalism.
It was reassuring to know that they didn't broker the transports, and they had an A+ rating with the better business bureau. They also included pictures and brief biographies of their drivers on their website.
Misty, at the dispatch center was very efficient and helpful. She sent me information about the company, their insurance, and exactly how things were done. I was most impressed by their transparency, because alot of other companies weren' t as forthcoming with this information!
They were never pushy for a sale, but rather accomodating and helpful, allowing me make the decision.
I knew right away that this was the company for me!
Our driver, Zollie was fantastic! He stayed in contact with me and our son through out the entire process. He was professional, and detail oriented.
But what really impressed me was how jovial he was with every phone call, and interaction. He is a good man, and I felt completely comfortable to have him as our driver!
It only took him 5 days to get our car from Asheville,NC to Pasadena, California! The car made it safely with out any damage.
Zollie is a fantastic representative for this company.
I will be contacting our chamber of commerce to have them put you on their list as one of the top transport companies for this area! I will also inform the local automobile dealerships of your outstanding reliability. Hopefully this will help other people who are desparately searching for a reputable company!

I had already shipped a car cross-country some years ago, and, while it was a very good experience, it pales in comparison to the level of professionalism, honesty and excellent customer service that Golden Key Express offers. In fact, I did not have to make a single phone call in the entire process to follow up on anything! I did a lot of research in choosing my transport company, and am delighted I decided to utilize your services.
Each part of the process was extremely smooth and like clockwork! The NY local tow company, Laricks's Towing, called to schedule the pick up of the car, as promised, and showed up, as promised. And, while I fully understood that there could be delays in the car actually leaving NY on the trailer (and fully expected some delays), there clearly were none, because the car arrived exactly nine days after it was picked up! Your driver, Rick McNamara, called two days ahead to let me know that the car would be arriving, and then called the day of arrival for the delivery directions. He was professional, very pleasant, and not at all upset with me when I gave him a wrong direction! The car was delivered just a few blocks from my workplace, and was incredibly convenient.

I recently used Golden Key Express to ship my dear automobile from the Bay Area to northern NJ for my cross-country move. Anyone who's done this kind of thing knows what a stressful experience it can be, and I think the people who run Golden Key understand that, too. I was so nervous about shipping my car that I checked up on this company any way I possibly could, even through calling Golden Key's insurance company and asking how many claims they've had recently, etc. Turns out they've only had something like one claim in 12 years (I'm paraphrasing here, so don't quote me on this), and the insurance guy had nothing but good words about the guy who owns Golden Key and the drivers he hires ("only the safest," according to the insurance person). It's a smaller operation, so you tend to speak to the same dispatcher when you call the company, and they even gave me the cell phone number of my driver, who was communicative and friendly. My car got to the destination almost exactly when they said it would, and other than needing a wash (thousands of miles of dirt accumulated -- no fault of Golden Key's, of course), my car was in great shape. Highly recommended, and if I ever have to move across the country again, Golden Key would be the first call I make.

Golden Key Express, unlike the majority of "car carriers," is not a broker, it is the actual business that transports your vehicle. The owner Harold is one of the three drivers. Miisty, their dispatcher is very courteous and will supply you with all the information and updates you need. I had my Lexus transported from Cambridge, MA to Oakland, CA. Their price was a little higher, because the streets were narrow in Cambridge, Golden Key used a flatbed truck to bring the car to the actual carrier. Harold kept me informed via cellphone during the trip out to Oakland. He was always very courteous. Golden Key may be a few dollars more than other broker/carriers - you really don't know who is delivering your car when you sign up with a broker. The great service was definitely worth the price. There is no "bait and switch" the price quoted is what you pay. This is not true with many brokers. My Lexus arrived in perfect condition and I would not heisitate to use Golden Key Express again.

I recently moved from California to Georgia, and shipped two cars with your company. I wanted to contact you to give you feedback on our experience. Bob Selby, our driver, met us close to our home and took possession of our two cars. He was both punctual and professional. Because of our schedules, it was likely that we would not be present to accept the cars in Georgia, so we prepaid for both cars at the time of pickup. Sometimes when you pre-pay for a service, you end up getting the short end of the stick. This was not the case with Bob! He maintained contact with us throughout the next ten days, and always returned our calls. Since our flight did not get in until the day after the cars would arrive, we arranged for two colleagues to take possession of the cars at the dropoff point in Georgia, and Bob made sure that everything went smoothly. Our cars were delivered, both on time and without damage. I can't say enough about the great service that we experienced with Golden Key Express! This was our first time shipping cars across the country, and we highly recommend your company and Bob in particular.

On or about September 20 or September 21, Golden Key delivered my father's car in Austin, Texas. It appears to have been in fine condition.
Mr. Selby kept me informed of his "20" and "ETA" during the delivery especially when he reached Louisiana and was heading towards Plano,Texas. We worked together to find a reasonable accommodation that we mutually accepted in dropping off and picking up the car. He was gracious and considerate at all times and we also enjoyed his good sense of humor.
Golden Key is fortunate to have such a customer friendly, no nonsense, get the job done timely and effectively kind of employee. Bob Selby is an outstanding performer and a rarity among delivery personnel these days: straight forward. In the event that I need the services of Golden Key in the future, I hope to have the assistance of Mr. Selby.
Please advise him of these comments that I hope will be used in future favorable evaluations.

Just wanted to thank you all for the excellent shipment of my RAV 4 from Goleta, CA to my daughter in Morehead, KY.
One of my first impressions of your company was my initial contact with Harold. I call him on his cell just as he was pulling in to gas up his rig. He had all of the information that I needed at the ready and gave me a quote at that time. I was impressed that the owner was also a driver.
My next contact was with Misty, and she further confirmed my initial impression of what a professional organization she worked for. The fact that all of the documents that I needed were emailed to me was a great selling point.
I met Jack when he picked up the RAV 4 in Goleta. Everything about him and the way that he went about his business impressed me and reflected on the QUALITY company that he works for.
Jack had called me earlier in the week to advise that he would be picking my car up on Friday afternoon. He then called me on Friday to let me know that he was a half hour away (per my request). The pick was an easy process. Jack told me that it would be between the 10th and the 15th when he would make delivery. He delivered on the 13th.
My daughter, who took delivery, was impressed with Jack and remarked that the car arrived in excellent condition.
